Accounts Clerk (Jan 2005)
Due to business growth, this Nedlands based investment bank has a created a new position for an experience Accounts Clerk to maintain accurate and complete records for their group of companies.
Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, Financial Controller and Asset Manager, the role is essentially transaction processing with some analysis and reporting of financial information.

The successful candidate will need to be able to process invoices quickly and accurately across a range of companies, as well as prepare source documents and input into MYOB.

Daily responsibilities include preparing sales invoices, managing debtors, processing on-line banking, entering purchase invoices, expense claims, payments and receipts, updating Loan Statement spreadsheets and preparing statement reconciliations as required.

Other duties include maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, preparing bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations on loan accounts, project cash flow reports, BAS reports, annual tax returns and annual reports.

Practical work experience on MYOB up to trial balance stage is essential as is good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Drivers licence and vehicle also required.
