Role Description:
- Undertake manual Parks & Gardens maintenance tasks
- Seasonal weed control (manual and chemical)
- Brush cutting and use of hand-held equipment
- Rubbish removal and site clean-ups
- Fencing repairs and minor installation works
- Pruning of trees, shrubs and garden beds
- Revegetation and planting works
- Lawn mowing and general turf maintenance
- Assist with general grounds and landscape maintenance activities
- Work as part of a Parks & Gardens team to maintain public open spaces and reserves
Essential Requirements:
- National Police Clearance dated within the last 6 months
- White Card
- Minimum C class drivers' licence
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
- Experience in parks and gardens environments
- Horticulture and Conservation Experience
- Knowledge of WA common weeds and Native Species
Desirable Requirements:
- Pesticide Technician Licence
- Chainsaw Ticket
- MR Licence
- Experience in conservation
