Role Description:
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs across zoo buildings, fixtures, and grounds
- Perform minor construction tasks including basic carpentry, painting, and patching
- Maintain presentation standards in public areas, paths, and enclosures
- Support safety, cleanliness, and compliance in a public visitor environment
- Work closely with the facilities and environmental services team
Essential Criteria
- Experience in general maintenance or facilities support
- Ability to perform manual labour and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail and presentation standards
- C Class drivers licence
- Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Full working rights in Australia
- National Police Check (within the last 6 months or willing to obtain)
