Role Description:
Integrity Industrial are currently recruiting for a private company who specialize in both gardening and general building maintenance. You will be a front-line representative of the company, working directly with clients in residential and commercial settings.
Gardening Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage gardens and green spaces
- Complete tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, hedging, edging, and weeding
- Operate and manage reticulation systems
- Handle materials such as mulch, fertilisers, pesticides, and concrete
- Use gardening equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Conduct seasonal garden care to ensure visual appeal and plant health
- Assist with minor concreting and paving as required
Building Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Inspect and identify faulty equipment and facilities for repair or replacement
- Carry out tasks such as painting, fixing blinds, lights, doors, and installing mobility aids
- Perform manual cleaning duties: high-pressure hosing, window cleaning, cobweb and debris removal
- Complete inspection reports and administrative duties in a timely manner
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 6 months experience in gardening, landscaping or building maintenance
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
- Valid Class C Driver’s License
- Valid Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check(or willing to obtain)
- National Police Check(within last 3 months or willing to obtain)
- Right to work in Australia
- Willingness to comply with social media screening as part of employment process
Desirable:
- Experience in general building maintenance or handyman work
- Tertiary studies in horticulture or construction
- Proficiency with hand-held and electric tools
