Rate:$44.08 Per Hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm
Roster: One rostered day off per fortnight
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Approx. 10–12 weeks (may extend depending on project scope) 

Role Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused HR Driver to support the Infrastructure and Civil Works team within the City of Wanneroo. This role involves operating HR vehicles and supporting a range of civil infrastructure activities such as roadworks, drainage maintenance, verge reinstatements and general labouring.


Key Duties:
  • Safely operate HR trucks for material and equipment transport to/from work sites
  • Assist with manual civil works, such as road and drainage repairs, verge works, and site clean-ups
  • Support traffic management and site setup activities
  • Carry out daily vehicle pre-starts and report any maintenance issues
  • Adhere to all OH&S, environmental and operational procedures

Essential Criteria:
  • Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver’s Licence
  • Valid White Card (Construction Induction)
  • Recent National Police Clearance (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling and outdoor work
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Desirable:
  • Previous experience in civil construction, public works, or local government infrastructure projects
  • Experience using minor plant or tools
