Our State Goverment client is looking to hire a Work Health and Safety Consultant
on a temporary assignment
- Hourly Rate:$67.20 per hour plus super (Level 5.1)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 2 months approx – until 31 st of July (possible extension)
- Location: Perth CBD
All of our roles are temporary assignments and the hourly rates quoted include a 25% casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements.
In this role as a Work Healthy and Safety Consultant, you will be tasked with providing expert advisory services across Work Health and Safety (WHS), Injury Management (IM), and Employee Wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing safety frameworks, policies and procedural improvements.
- Providing high-level guidance to line managers, employees, HSRs and WHS committees.
- Managing injury cases and coordinating organisational safety training.
To be considered you will be required to have experience with :
- Interpreting WHS/IM Acts, coordinating complex WHS/IM requirements.
- Trend analysis, conceptual thinking and innovative problem solving.
- Stakeholder advising, team collaboration andempowering others.
- Planning, task prioritisation and meeting deadlines under pressure.
- Tertiary degree (Health Science, Rehab, WHS, or HR).
If successful you will need to provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months), undertake 2 reference checks and comply with any departmental onboarding requirements
