A State Government agency is looking to hire a Safety Coordinator (2:1 FIFO)
on a temporary assignment
- Hourly Rate:$75 per hour plus super
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 5 months
- Location: Derby – fly In / fly out (Return flights, accomodation and use of pool vehicle included)
- Hours of work : 14 days on / 7 days off – 11.5 per hours per day (with 30 minute unpaid lunch break)
All of our roles are temporary assignments and the hourly rates quoted include a 25% casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements.
In this role as a Safety Coordinator, you will be tasked with leading and managing Safety, Health, and Wellbeing (SHW) initiatives by ensuring strict compliance with legislative requirements and corporate standards.
This role focuses on minimising workplace injuries (LTIs) through proactive risk management, stakeholder collaboration and the delivery of expert safety support.
To be considered you will be required to have :
Essential:
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
- ICAM Lead Investigator certification.
- Current First Aid Certificate / CPR.
- HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing.
- Traffic Controller / Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate.
Desirable:
- Mental Health First Aid.
Candidates are also required to possess the skills and competencies outlined in the attached JDF.
If successful you will need to provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months), undertake 2 reference check and comply with any departmental onboarding requests
