Role Description:
• Perform general building and facility maintenance in a hospital environment
• Carry out basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and repair tasks as required
• Assist with furniture moves, installations, and minor project works
• Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
• Support trades and contractors working on-site, ensuring compliance with hospital safety procedures
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with hospital and OH&S standards
Essential Criteria
• Demonstrated experience in general maintenance or handyperson roles
• Construction White Card
• National Police Check (dated within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain)
• Full working rights in Australia
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality service
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a maintenance team
