128. Integrity Industrial - VSO Maintenance Instructor

Role Description:

• Undertake and coordinate routine and emergency maintenance within the prison, including buildings, facilities, and equipment

• Supervise and lead prisoners in productive maintenance work across all areas of the facility

• Assist with breakdowns, coordinate maintenance faults, and maintain accurate fault and repair records

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations, departmental policies, and industry standards

• Provide training and development opportunities to prisoners to help them build trade skills and prepare for employment after release

Essential Criteria:

• Certificate III in a construction trade (e.g. Brick & Block Laying, Carpentry & Joinery, Building & Construction, Building Maintenance, or Appliance Service)

• White Card

• Full working rights in Australia

• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
