Project Support Officer
PROCUREMENT SUPPORT
1.1 Provides general support to business areas in the planning, formation, contract management and review of low risk commercial agreements.
1.2 Liaises with disciplines and business areas and suppliers/contractors in order to ensure planning, contract development, renewals, extensions and variations are processed as per policy requirements and the Forward Procurement Plan.
1.3 Maintains complete and accurate contract records and registers for sites, including data entry in the Procurement and Development Management System (PDMS), in line with recordkeeping requirements.
1.4 Maintains a client focus on service delivery including client contact and management.
1.5 Drafts and prepares correspondence, contract meeting minutes, reports and other correspondence as required.
CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
2.1 Liaises with contract users, service providers and other internal and external stakeholders, and incorporates input into contract development and the management of the contract.
2.2 Monitors vendor performance, including contract expenditure, including resolving low risk contract issues.
Highly desirable - Department of Health or WA State Government procurement experience
