Our client is looking for someone who brings a mix of confidence, charisma, practical capability, and genuine passion for engagement with young people.
Community Education and Engagement (85%)
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating community education strategies, plans, and events.
- Support projects and initiatives that promote statewide community education and positive change in the relevant area.
- Coordinate and evaluate school and community education programs, engagement activities, and capacity-building initiatives.
- Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, local governments, community organisations, and key stakeholders.
- Provide advice, support, and information on community education and relevant initiatives to stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute educational and promotional materials to support the intitiatives messaging.
- Engage effectively with diverse communities, including CALD groups, First Nations people, and marginalised communities.
- Represent the Client on committees, working groups, forums, and stakeholder meetings.
- Research and share best practice, trends, and demographic insights relevant initiative strategies.
- Develop and deliver presentations, forums, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support the establishment and sustainability of stakeholder groups and local leadership initiatives.
Policy (10%)
- Assist in providing policy advice and recommending initiatives related to community education and engagement.
- Maintain awareness of emerging trends and developments impacting program areas and provide advice to management and stakeholders.
Other (5%)
- Comply with information security, confidentiality, and data management requirements.
- Demonstrate high ethical standards, integrity, and adherence to the Agency’s Code of Conduct.
- Undertake other duties as required.
