The Business Support Officer provides high-quality administrative and operational support to the Coordinator, Booking and Online Services, ensuring the effective day-to-day delivery of booking and online services within the Alcohol and Drug Support Service (ADSS). The role maintains documentation and databases, supports policy and quality improvement initiatives, and contributes to service innovation and discrete business improvement projects.
The position works in partnership with individuals, families, carers and stakeholders to support positive outcomes in mental health, alcohol and other drug services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support delivery of the Booking Service for WA Diversion Programs, including WA Police Diversion and the Alcohol Interlock Scheme
- Prepare reports, maintain databases, and update operational content across digital and written formats
- Assist with development of internal guidelines, policies and procedures
- Contribute to strategic planning, quality improvement and business improvement projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including WA Police and service providers
- Provide guidance and administrative support to ensure compliance with legislation and policy
- Represent the Commission on committees, working groups and at events
- Maintain accurate records in line with government and Commission standards

- Knowledge of alcohol and other drug service delivery with a non-judgmental approach
