  • Start ASAP for 6 months + possible extension
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, standard office hours, some flexibility after a couple of months.

The Compliance Officer provides high-quality administrative, records management and project support to ensure participant files, compliance documentation and operational processes are accurate, complete and prepared in line with organisational requirements.

The role supports archiving activities, participant communications, scheduling, spreadsheet and calendar maintenance, quality improvement initiatives, and the ongoing review and application of standard operating procedures to promote efficiency, consistency and compliance.
DUTIES: 

  • Reviewing SOPs and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Assisting new staff in understanding SOPs and workflows (without using the word “train”)
  • Supporting QI management activities
  • Ensuring participant files are complete, accurately packed, and recorded before off‑site transfer
  • Conducting quality checks against established checklists
  • Preparing participant files for check‑ins and follow‑ups
  • Photocopying and printing using internal systems
  • Updating spreadsheets, calendars, and internal trackers
  • Organising follow‑up appointments and coordinating with the resourcing team
  • Communicating with participants and responding to queries


REQUIRED:

  • Demonstrated administrative experience — including compliance support, records management, project support, or similar operational functions.
  • Strong attention to detail — with the ability to maintain accurate documentation, ensure file integrity, and manage tracking records effectively.
  • File management capability — experience preparing, checking, and managing physical or electronic files in accordance with procedures and quality standards.
  • Coordination and organisational skills — ability to schedule appointments, manage competing priorities, and maintain spreadsheets, calendars, and administrative systems.
  • Training and compliance tracking — experience monitoring mandatory training, assigning learning in an LMS, and generating compliance or completion reports (highly regarded).
  • Effective communication skills — well‑developed written and verbal communication abilities, with confidence liaising professionally with participants and internal stakeholders.
  • SOP interpretation and application — demonstrated ability to follow, interpret, and support consistent application of standard operating procedures.
  • Process improvement mindset — ability to identify efficiency opportunities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Strong digital literacy — proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn internal systems.
  • Confidentiality and professionalism — proven ability to manage sensitive information appropriately and responsibly.
