Role 1:
Project Support Officer – HR / Onboarding Focus
This role supports a major internal project.
With significant staff movement expected across the organisation, the project team requires strong administrative and coordination support.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR onboarding support
during high‑volume staff transitions
- Coordinate documentation
and ensure compliance with government processes
- Liaise with internal stakeholders
across multiple business areas
- Assist with project tracking, reporting and workflow management
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all record‑keeping
Ideal Background:
- WA Government HR or onboarding experience
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage high‑volume, repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving project environment
Role 2:
Finance Program Support Officer
Budget Estimates
This role sits within the Finance Program Office.
It requires someone who is highly analytical, fast‑paced, and confident working with complex data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Excel data manipulation including pivoting large datasets
- Maintain and update a 500+ line budget database
- Coordinate consultation processes across five Ministerial Offices
- Engage with senior stakeholders and deliver training sessions
- Prepare briefing materials, hard‑copy files and documentation for Ministers
- Work within the Objective records management system
Ideal Background:
- High‑level Excel capability (pivot tables, data modelling, complex formatting)
- Experience in government finance, budget processes or program offices
- Ability to work under pressure and respond rapidly to changing priorities
