  • Rate: $48.31 p/h + Super
  • Location: Northbridge
  • Starting ASAP for 3 months, possible extension
  • Fulltime hours Mon-Fri
  • Required: National Police Clearance within last 6 months
  • Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents preferred

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide service support to onboarding and offboarding activities that includes but is not limited to coordinating and information managing:
  • Staff, students and volunteers pre-employment and other compliance documents/confirmations (including VEVO work rights checks),
  • preparing employment offers, contracts, variation letters and other correspondence inclusive of communicating these to staff.
  • Deregistering relevant credentials, eg WWC and NDIS, for terminated employees.
  • Data entry into the HRIS system including:
  • Entering new employees, students, volunteers and contractors,
  • Entering/updating compliance documents (licences, qualifications etc),
  • Uploading attachments.
  • Coordinates and completes employment compliance and compliance related reporting between P&C and internal stakeholders including Finance/Payroll.
  • Administer, maintain and support a range of P&C systems that are used for recruitment, learning, organisational HR management.
  • Responsible for monitoring and responding to the P&C Inbox, escalating emails of a complex matter to the People & Culture Manager or Partners as appropriate.
  • Maintains effective records management, including Personnel folders, HRIS database with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Facilitates and provides support to people experience initiatives, projects, and activities that may include diversity, inclusion, and other working groups.
  • Proactively identifies and introduces efficiencies for people experience as well as P&C outcomes.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including vacancy advertising, candidate communications and interview scheduling
  • Coordinate pre-employment screening activities, including reference checks, qualification verification, and other required compliance checks.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Ensure the confidential and secure handling of candidate and employee information at all times.

Essential
It is expected that the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Demonstrated experience providing recruitment administrative support including booking interviews and reference checking.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage recruitment workflows, candidate records and reporting.
  • Well-developed organisational skills including time management and priority setting.
  • Excellent customer services skills including interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative.
  • Knowledge and understanding of diversity, gender and social inclusion, particularly Aboriginal culture.
  • Intermediate computer skills in the Microsoft office suite program.
  • An appetite to learn, grow, collaborate and contribute to team success.
