  • Rate: $57.17 p/h + Super

  • Fulltime office hours, Mon-Fri
  • Applicants must already have valid WA Working With Children's Check Card
  • If successful, candidate will need to apply for the specific department clearance
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level executive and administrative support, including confidential correspondence, reports, briefings, travel, diary management, and enquiries.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor administrative systems and processes, providing support and advice to Directorate staff.
  • Monitor workflows, conduct research and investigations, and ensure key deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Provide executive support to committees, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and distributing meeting materials.
  • Deliver complex administrative tasks and projects to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, responding to enquiries from schools, education sectors, and the community.
  • Foster effective collaboration and working relationships across the Directorate.
  • Administer and monitor financial processes in line with departmental policies.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive enquiries, ensuring appropriate referrals and timely responses.
  • Maintain accurate records and information systems in accordance with recordkeeping policies.

Selection Criteria:
  1. Extensive experience providing administrative and executive support to senior managers.
  2. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  3. Excellent written communication skills, including preparing correspondence, minutes, and briefing notes.
  4. Well-developed research, analytical, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and work independently.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems, including databases and spreadsheets.
