  • 1 day per week - every Friday
  • Rate: $57 p/h + Super
  • Location: Perth CBD
  • For 2 months with possible extension
  • Starting 31st July or 7th August
  • Hours: 8am to 4pm with mandatory 30 minute unpaid lunch break
  • This is with a Not-For-Profit Organisation
Database Duties
  • Perform data entry and processing to ensure information is accurate, up to date, and entered in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all necessary information and changes are communicated to the Chairperson/Treasurer and, when instructed, to Committee members.
  • Communicate with members (verbally, in writing, electronically, and via social media) regarding events, information, and updates.

Clerical Duties
  • Receive, process, and distribute correspondence as appropriate.
  • Transcribe correspondence, memoranda, minutes, reports, summaries, and presentations.
  • Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, and record meeting minutes.
  • Maintain records and filing systems, including general office systems and photocopying.
  • Maintain department and other relevant databases.
  • Raise requisitions and stationery orders, including catering and other services/supplies.
  • Assist with the maintenance and ordering of equipment and stationery as directed.
  • Facilitate payment of accounts by receiving invoices, arranging payment, and forwarding documentation for approval and processing.
  • Monitor and organise the maintenance of assets, including printers and other equipment.

Governance, Safety and Quality
  • Assist in ensuring the Fund complies with the requirements of the Associations Incorporation Act 2015.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Participate in annual performance development reviews.
  • Support customer experience initiatives and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Complete mandatory training, including safety and quality training, relevant to the role.
  • Comply with the Code of Conduct, Occupational Safety and Health legislation, the Disability Services Act, and the Equal Opportunity Act. 

Essential Selection Criteria
1.   Demonstrated experience in the provision of clerical duties
2.   Demonstrated proficient skills and experience in the use of computer software applications, including all MS Office functions.
3.   Proficient keyboard skills and experience with data entry and retrieval.
4.   Demonstrated accurate financial processing including basic bookkeeping skills.
5.   Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills with strengths in liaising customers and a team environment.
6.   Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to complete a variety of tasks whilst meeting a range of deadlines with minimal supervision.
7.   Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
