  • Provides administrative support to the Contracts and Procurement Team.
  • Provide general advice to business areas on the formation, management and review of less complex/low risk commercial agreements together with procurement and contract of service arrangements.
  • Monitor compliance with the Agency’s Procurement Framework.
  • Monitor the Agency’s compliance with the WA Procurement Rules.
  • Assist business areas to define procurement needs, developing less complex business cases and procurement plans.
  • Liaise with business areas and contractors in order to process contract renewals, extension and variations.
  • Develops and maintains effective communication links and working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Focuses on customer service delivery and continuous improvement of services.
  • Prepares and appropriately distributes procurement documents, including requests, letters, minutes of meetings, evaluation reports, agendas, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Undertakes activities including preparing documents, briefs, submissions and correspondence, and liaison with stakeholders.
  • Maintains procurement contract registers in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and alignment to Tenders WA.
  • Contribute to the development of procurement policies, standards, process improvements and guidelines.
  • Administer and maintain contract processes and associated record keeping, including confidential information.
  • Undertakes other duties as required.

Specific Requirements
Essential
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of administrative tasks and procurement, contracts and or project management and executive support.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills including liaison with staff at all levels and contributing positively as part of a team.
Desirable
  • Demonstrated sound skills and experience in a variety of information management systems and computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to undertake routine financial activities.
