I have a 12-month
contract
available via Integrity Executive
for a Release of Information Officer (L4)
based in Fremantle.
The suggested pay rate is between $63.34 (L4.1) & $66.48 (L4.3)
an hour plus super.
Working hours per day / week:
37.5 weekly
All of our roles are temporary assignments through Integrity and the hourly rates quoted include a 25% casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements.

Information Release Roles
Release of Information Officer is responsible for assisting in the implementation and administration of release of information in accordance with relevant legislation.
The role may involve reviewing records that are extremely sensitive and confronting in nature. This role may also assist with the co-ordination of summons and subpoenas and other orders including vetting and preparation of files for forwarding to the courts, as required.
This role undertakes a range of information management activities to service client’s needs and meet departmental objectives, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines.
Essential
- Proven sound analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, conflict management and negotiation skills, including the ability to liaise with staff at all levels and work effectively in a team environment.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply acts, legislation and regulations.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, including the Freedom of Information Act 1992, that support the provision of release of information
Desirable
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and provide advice on Freedom of Information Legislation (WA)
Onboarding Requirements:
To be successful, you will be required to undergo two professional reference checks, provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months) and comply with departmental onboarding processes.
