Our State Government is seeking an experienced Policy Officer
to join their team on a temporary assignment.
- Hourly Rate:
Policy Officer - $69.55 (Level 5.1) to $76.01 (Level 5.4) per hour plus super
Senior Policy Officer - $79.66 (Level 6.1) to $87.79 (Level 6.4) per hour plus super
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 1 month (possible extension)
- Location: Fremantle
All of our roles are temporary assignments and the hourly rates quoted include a 25% casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements.
In this role you will tasks will include :
Policy Officer
Delivers core research, data analysis and operational policy reviews to support departmental initiatives. Assists with project monitoring, routine stakeholder consultations and contributing input to briefing materials.
Senior Policy Officer
Leads complex policy evaluations, strategic project delivery and high-level advice directly aligned with government priorities. Independently drafts parliamentary briefs and speeches while managing key stakeholder relationships and divisional representation.

Onboarding Requirements:
To be successful, you will be required to undergo two professional reference checks, provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months), and comply with departmental onboarding processes.
