We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Accounts & Administration Officer to support our financial operations and provide high‑quality administrative assistance across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied position, enjoys working collaboratively, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely work.

Accounts

  • Process accounts receivable and payable accurately and in line with organisational procedures, regulations, and policy.
  • Monitor and manage the Accounts email inbox, ensuring timely responses and follow‑up.
  • Complete daily banking tasks, including receipting and reconciliation against bank statements and remittances.
  • Assist with credit card administration and related activities.
  • Support the preparation of purchase requisitions, case budgets, and the maintenance of supplier databases.
  • Assist with asset management, including creation, disposal, and annual stocktake activities.
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries regarding accounts payable and receivable, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and follow up outstanding matters to ensure timely resolution.
  • Identify unusual transactions and assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain all accounts‑related registers and documentation.


Administration

  • Coordinate meeting catering and manage office supply orders as required.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation in accordance with Board policies and guidelines.
  • Provide general clerical support, including filing, records management, mail handling, and banking deposits.
  • Assist the Board, committees, and internal teams in the delivery of their functions.

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong data entry and numeracy skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience using computer‑based accounting systems.
  • Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team, delivering high‑quality outcomes within deadlines.
  • A strong commitment to providing excellent service.
