Governance & Secretariat Support
- Support the Company Secretary with Board and Committee papers, agendas, minutes, actions and follow-ups.
- Maintain governance, statutory and compliance registers and records.
- Develop templates, tools and processes to improve governance efficiency.
- Manage governance calendars, meetings, deadlines and statutory requirements.
- Support Board and Committee member onboarding and induction.
- Assist with governance policies, charters and frameworks.
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
- Monitor relevant legislative and regulatory changes and advise on impacts.
- Support timely ASIC and ACNC filings and statutory obligations.
- Assist with internal audits and governance compliance reviews.
- Maintain accurate and accessible compliance documentation.
Project Governance & Coordination
- Coordinate governance, compliance, risk and policy-related projects.
- Maintain project plans, timelines, registers and reporting.
- Coordinate stakeholder consultation and milestone reporting.
- Provide governance oversight to strategic projects.
- Support change initiatives to embed governance and compliance improvements.
Change Management
- Support organisational change initiatives, including communications and training.
- Promote adoption of new systems, processes and governance practices.
- Monitor and report on change impacts and organisational readiness.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Build effective relationships with Board Directors, senior management, regulators and other stakeholders.
- Liaise with external advisors, auditors and regulators as required.
- Support communication and training to strengthen governance awareness and compliance.
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in governance, compliance, or company secretariat support.
- Knowledge of the ACNC, ASIC and Corporations Act frameworks.
- Strong project management skills with experience in planning, delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
- High-level written communication and document preparation skills, including reports, minutes and frameworks.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, exercising sound judgment and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and governance software (e.g., Diligent, Convene, BoardPro).
