Project Implementation and Evaluation
- Supports the Division with project administration and governance to ensure effective project management and coordination is in place.
- Conducts ongoing environmental scanning, including analysis and stakeholder consultation, to evaluate effectiveness and performance, and recommended actions.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational practices, identify critical issues, and resolve problems effectively.
Communication and Engagement
- Builds productive working relationships across the Department, Ministerial Offices, other government agencies, and external stakeholders, including industry and non-government organisations to support the effective management of the project.
- Coordinates stakeholder engagement including travel and meeting arrangements.
- Develops resources to inform briefings, considering potential risks and impacts on key stakeholders, including the community, state government agencies, and whole-of-government relating to the project.
- Recognises audience sensitivities and diversity, and tailors communications appropriately.
Strategic Alignment - Support the Head of Reform in:
- coordination of internal and external stakeholder engagement for the Division.
- delivering high-level analysis, advice, and support on sensitive, complex, and confidential issues, policies and initiatives.
- preparing briefing notes, talking points and other resources.
- Acting as the secretariat of project related governance forums including agenda and meeting paper preparation, minute-taking and administration.
- Interprets and applies processes and principles such as Cabinet and parliamentary procedures, frameworks, and guidelines.
