  • Rate: $45 p/h (TBC)
  • Location: West Perth
  • Starting Wed 10th September for 6-8 weeks
  • Potential for extension/permanent contract - therefore client will unfortunately not be considering temporary visa holders
  • Fulltime hours onsite, 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Required: Current National Police clearance (within last 6 months)

Our client is seeking seeking a candidate who is experienced, self-motivated, resourceful and enjoys playing a critical role as part of a small team.
Key Accountabilities
Front of House & Administration
  • Act as the first point of contact for the organisation, professionally managing phone calls, email enquiries and visitors.
  • Prepare and format general documents, reports and presentations as required.
  • Organise and maintain office supplies.
  • Coordinate and undertake booking of travel, catering, functions and meetings as required.
  • Enter data into systems and generate reports as needed.
  • Undertake projects, conduct research and assist with other administrative tasks as requested by the Operations Manager or CEO.
  • Assist with maintaining records, filing systems and compliance documentation.
  • Provide administrative support for reporting and Board documentation as directed.
Facilities & Office Coordination
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, contractor bookings and escalate issues as required.
  • Be the point of contact for external service providers such as IT and communicate to staff members about any upgrades, disruptions and other relevant information.
Camp Accommodation Bookings
  • Manage the camp accommodation bookings system and processes, ensuring accuracy and effective communication.

Other Duties
  • Undertake other duties as required and requested to support operations.

Key Selection Criteria
  • Experience in administration, office coordination or facilities support roles.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage bookings and scheduling systems.
  • Professional communication skills and strong customer service orientation.
  • Practical, proactive and adaptable approach with willingness to support a broad range of tasks.
  • Ability to work outside of normal office hours to support fundraising or community service initiatives.

Staff parking available onsite.
Dress code: Smart Casual.

A handover will be provided by the outgoing Operations Assistant who concludes their employment on 18th September.
