Project Officer
Commence: Asap - 6 months (likely 6 month extension)

The Project Officer provides project and administrative support to the Project Director for Marine Infrastructure, undertakes investigation and analysis of issues, and assists with reporting and related requirements across the project.
The role contributes to the effective planning, coordination, monitoring and delivery of projects and may be deployed to support other teams as required.
Required skills, knowledge & experience:
- Demonstrated experience in providing a range of administration and project support activities within a major project or program environment.
- Sound research, analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate issues, evaluate information and contribute to practical solutions in a project context.
- Well-developed written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports, correspondence, contracts and other project documentation.
- Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve team and project outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs and follow systems and processes to support delivery within specified timeframes.
- Experience maintaining project documents in a document control system (e.g. Objective Connect, Aconex or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, with the agility and ability to manage competing and changing priorities, and deliver outputs with minimal supervision.
