Generic Job Description:
The position of Executive Officer is part of the divisional executive team along with a Senior Executive Officer reporting to the Executive Manager.
This position is responsible for:
- Coordinating, monitoring, preparing, and reviewing responses to a range of correspondence including working closely with Directorate ministerial and executive staff supporting timely and quality advice and responses to a range of ministerial matters.
- Providing senior executive support to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) (including calendar management) and Executive Manager.
- Maintaining oversight of timelines and engaging with stakeholders to negotiate Contributing to the continual improvement of correspondence processes by developing resources and providing considered advice.
- Providing an effective and efficient research and support service to the Division including assisting with the provision of information and the conduct of research on special projects.
- Collecting, collating and maintaining data relevant to the Division’s activities and provision of reports as directed.
- Assisting with projects including undertaking research and drafting reports, in a range of areas associated with the management and day to day services required by the Division.
