Administration and Support Services
- Provide quality customer service and information to clients and staff in accordance with police policies, procedures and supervisor instructions.
- Advise staff on conditions of service, crossing allocations and Traffic Warden procedures.
- Process appointments, transfers, leave requests, weekly roster adjustments and Relief Warden allocations.
- Escalate relevant operational and administrative issues to the supervisor.
- Prepare routine correspondence relating to employment confirmations and general administration.
- Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual statistical returns and other reports as required.
- Create and maintain Traffic Warden personnel files, records and databases, including the Resource Management Integrated System.
- Index correspondence, create file titles and part-files, and undertake general filing.
- Monitor, assess and refer Traffic Warden and children’s crossing complaints to the appropriate officer or area.
- Provide administrative support including archiving and annual contract management.
- Receive and process internal and external mail, including filing and movement of files within the Objective System.
- Maintain and order office stationery, Traffic Warden uniforms and equipment, including arranging issue, repairs and replacements.
The main duties will be answering calls from Traffic Wardens and organising relief and managing absenteeism for the Traffic Wardens.
