Key responsibilities:
- Supporting solicitors, paralegals and legal teams with day-to-day matters
- Preparing routine legal documents and correspondence
- Diary and meeting management
- Dictaphone typing, document formatting and file management
- Filing, scanning, photocopying and document collation
- Assisting with court/registry filings and service of documents
- Conducting basic legal and procedural research
- Managing invoices, accounts and general administrative tasks
- Responding to enquiries and supporting the wider team as required
About you:
- Previous experience in a legal environment as a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Law Clerk, Paralegal, Court/Registry Officer
or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to draft basic legal documents and correspondence
- Understanding of legal terminology, procedures and documentation
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems
- Professional approach to confidentiality
Requirement:
National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
