  • $49 + Super hour (Level 2)

You will provide professional and efficient clerical, administrative and paralegal support to the Investigations and Legal team, helping ensure the smooth and effective delivery of its functions.

Working under the guidance of the Team Leader Paralegal, you will deliver responsive, high-quality support across a range of legal and investigation activities.
Duties:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and document distribution.
  • Accurately process, capture and maintain electronic and hard-copy records in line with organisational procedures.
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, document preparation, quality assurance, diary management, agenda preparation and action tracking.
  • Support the Board, committees and teams in carrying out their functions.
  • Draft standard correspondence to legal practitioners, complainants and third parties.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, recommendations and related correspondence.
  • Prepare, redact, merge, collate and maintain electronic documents to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Maintain databases and registers, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Contribute to the improvement and implementation of business processes and procedures.

Essential

  • Experience providing administrative support within a legal environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management, document management systems and online publishing tools.
  • Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • NPC within 6 months old.
