Our State Government client is seeking an experienced Safety Advisor
to join their team on a temporary assignment.
- Hourly Rate: Between $79.66 (L6.1) per hour plus super and $87.79 (L6.4) per hour plus super
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 6 months
- Location: Perth CBD
All of our roles are temporary assignments and the hourly rates quoted include a 25% casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements.
In this role as a Safety Advisor
your tasks will include:
- System Implementation: Help establish and support the rollout of safety systems and processes across a major infrastructure project management environment.
- Compliance & Assurance: Transition into compliance and assurance activities to ensure the adequate implementation and application of those safety systems.
- Document Management: Conduct contractor document reviews and draft necessary safety documentation.
- Inspections & Audits: Perform regular site inspections and contractor audits to evaluate safety adherence.
- Compliance Reporting: Report on contractor compliance with safety specifications, focusing on public, occupational, construction, traffic and rail safety.
Essential Experience :
- WHS Generalist: Bring comprehensive occupational health and safety expertise to manage diverse workplace risks.
- Construction Experience: Leverage a background in civils, mechanical, or major construction projects—specifically hospitals, community hubs or correctional facilities.
- Influence & Relationship Building: Utilise strong interpersonal skills to successfully guide contractors, conduct audits and influence safety behaviours
Onboarding Requirements:
To be successful, you will be required to undergo two professional reference checks, provide a National Police Clearance (no older than 3 months), and comply with departmental onboarding processes.
