About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Temporary Administration Officer to provide administrative support to a senior leadership team within the WA State Government.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous Western Australian State Government experience who can hit the ground running and provide high-quality administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
The assignment will initially run for 2–3 weeks, commencing ASAP, with a strong possibility of extension due to several vacancies across the broader team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage diaries, coordinate meetings and schedule appointments.
- Provide general administrative and business support to the team and senior executives.
- Coordinate correspondence, emails and administrative documentation.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and track action items as required.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with document management.
- Support briefings, meetings and other team activities.
- Undertake general office administration and ad hoc duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working within the WA State Government.
- Strong diary management and meeting coordination skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- The ability to work independently and hit the ground running.
- A professional approach and confidence supporting senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with government systems, processes and administrative procedures.
Experience at a PSA Level 4 Business Support Officer
level, or in a similar government administration role, essential.
