Senior Managing Law Clerk (Level 6)
The Level 6, Senior Managing Law Clerk manages a team to ensure the efficient delivery of paralegal and administrative support to legal officers and clients and ensures effective working relationships across all stakeholders. Senior Managing Law Clerks also carry out complex paralegal work and is required to manage complex legal files.
To be suitable for this position
, you will be an experienced senior paralegal who is proactive and a forward thinker, with considerable experience in a paralegal environment with the ability to:
- Lead, manage and develop a team of paralegals.
- Advise on factual paralegal matters.
- Draft complex legal documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Undertake research and examination of a complex and sensitive nature.
- Maintain legal information management systems and databases.
Level 5, Managing Law Clerk (Level 5)
The Level 5, Managing Law Clerk supports the Senior Legal Support staff and Legal Officers to ensure effective working relationships across all stakeholders. The Managing Law Clerk carries out complex paralegal work and is required to manage complex legal files and will also assist the Senior Managing Law Clerk in leading, developing and managing the teams.
