About the Role
Our client (WA State Government) is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance and Reporting Officer –
Procurement and Contracts
to join our team on a full-time basis at Fiona Stanley Hospital in Murdoch.
In this role, you will support the delivery of excellence in procurement, contract management, and advisory services by conducting assurance reviews and audits across the health service. You will contribute to the development and implementation of best-practice procurement and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance reviews and audits on procurement and contract management practices across SMHS.
- Support implementation of procurement and purchasing policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
- Provide expert advice and assurance across procurement categories and contract activities.
- Coordinate and contribute to key projects to enhance procurement governance and efficiency.
About You
You are an analytical, solutions-focused professional with strong knowledge of procurement and contract management within a government or complex organisation. Your communication and stakeholder engagement skills allow you to confidently provide guidance and influence outcomes.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated understanding of procurement, purchasing, and contract management, including policy and governance in a government or similar setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience advising on procurement and contract matters.
