Function
: To deliver project support to the Manager and team associated with the delivery of a roads infrastructure program.
· Liaise with Local Government Roads authorities related to collecting invoices, and other relevant LGA data specific to the Program requirements
· Monitor expenditure and payments for each infrastructure project / element under the Program
· Prepare general financial reports for each infrastructure project under the Program
· Monitor budgets and expenditure and initiate corrective actions as required
· Monitor all reporting, accounting and administrative systems for compliance with department policies
· Provide support for all program-related activities for the URSP team
· Provide customer focused services
· Assist in the preparation of business cases and reports
· Assist in providing data and information as required for other service areas within the department
· Assist in liaising with corporate communications on media releases as required
· Undertake and assist in research and analysis
· Prepare and monitor air travel and accommodation requirements in accordance with department policies.
· Record meeting minutes
· Attend meetings with the team on and off-site
· Undertake other delegated administrative support functions as required to meet the needs of the Program
ESSENTIAL: (specify to a maximum of three (3) criteria relevant to the job function)
· Experience in an administrative role of at least 2 years with ability to multitask, working to deadlines and self-initiating work with a customer focus
· Ability to interpret plans and complete / assist in writing / completing written reports
· Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel plus Teams and Outlook
DESIRABLE: (if applicable to a maximum of only two (2))
· experience in road management
· knowledge / understanding of TRIM (Content Manager)
