Role Purpose:
Supports the management of image rights, copyright, and licensing across exhibitions and digital platforms to ensure compliance and accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and track image licences and copyright records
- Maintain databases and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Coordinate content updates and replacements
- Support copyright compliance and escalate complex issues
- Collaborate with curatorial, digital, and exhibition teams
- Assist with culturally appropriate handling of sensitive materials
- Provide reports and project updates
Key Requirements:
- Experience in project/admin support (ideally in museums or similar)
- Basic knowledge of copyright/licensing
- Strong data management and organisational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable:
- Experience with exhibitions or digital content
- Awareness of Aboriginal cultural protocols
