Duties
• Provides an advisory service towards departments and health units about inventory service.
• Provides and sustains excellence in customer service and communications with suppliers, customers and staff.
• Maintain and update stock catalogue and supplier reference.
• Ensures Imprest is scanned accurately and on time.
• Participates with auditing Imprest store levels on a regular basis to ensure over-stocking does not occur.
• Produces inventory management reports, reviews and adjusts stock levels as required to respond to changing markets, suppliers and customer requirements.
• Monitors and reports on the effectiveness and efficiency of inventory purchasing processes and procedures and recommend changes in line with continuous improvement principles.
• Assists the Team Leader Goods-In to develop and maintain a procurement plan for all inventory items.
• Set Imprest store levels in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Responsible for the cycle stocktakes for the warehouse and investigates discrepancies.
• Assists with the creation and maintenance of Imprest locations
• Responsible for Imprest updates, additions and deletions within the inventory management system.
• Assists with the implementing of contract changes.
• Other duties as required.
