Revenue Officer:
- Processing of the Daily Bank Statement – The bank statement for the department can be 3 – 6 pages so a lot of different types of transactions to process to Accounts, these include Invoice Payments, monies received in from other Government Agencies, receipting and banking.
- Processing of Refunds – The main Finance Computer System is SAP
- In revenue the team also deal with raising invoices, Debt Recovery, Commercial Air Travel, Vendor Creations, Payment Run, Balancing of General Ledger Accounts and various other duties so it is varied.
- There is a lot of communication required as there are a lot queries on the revenue received at times, so clear and concise oral communication, well presented emails and memos to clients are required in the role.
- Intermediate Computer skills
The above are some of the duties that are carried out by revenue, but at this time the team require assistance with processing of the bank statement, processing refunds, clearing of accounts and various other adhoc duties as required.
