Role duties:
- Follow up on revenue from timber stumpages and logging operations and resolve any queries relating to the collection of revenue due from the sale of logs and other timber products in a timely efficient manner.
- Analyses on overdue timber revenue and provide reports to management within agreed timeframes.
- Calculates and administers deferred royalty payments and report to the management within the agreed timeframes.
- Collects and manages the Forest Industries Federation of WA log levies and other such special levies.
- Reconciles invoices with log delivery notes and other sources of documentation within the agreed timeframes.
- Keep tracks on outstanding debts.
- Identifies gaps in the finance system and recommend solutions.
- Updates account status and database regularly.
- Investigates requests of credit from customers and provide final recommendations to management.
- Raises manual invoices and forwards them to relevant area for input into Technology One, as well as raise and authorise credit notes.
- Liaise with the Manager, Business Operations and other Commission staff, customers and where applicable contractors to negotiate and recommend special payment arrangements. As well as liaise with debt collection agencies where necessary regarding overdue accounts.
- Handle customers’ question or complaints
- Undertakes other duties as required.
