ESSENTIAL
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical and research skills, with the ability to provide innovative thinking in problem solving and implementing improved work practices.
- Demonstrated experience in contemporary data integration, collection and Business Intelligence presentation technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in meeting organisational outcomes and deadlines including planning monitoring and evaluating deliverables.
- Extensive budgeting and management reporting experience within a medium or large diversified public or private sector organisation.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication, including report writing skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate, liaise and consult with a range of stakeholders in various contexts.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Membership of a professional accounting body: Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia or CPA Australia or the Institute of Public Accountants.
ROLE SCOPE
The Budgeting and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for:
• Co-ordinating and preparing information relevant to the clients operations that is used by the Branch to prepare budgets and financial statements;
• Analysing, designing, developing and implementing Business Intelligence solutions that deliver information to drive decision making within the Operations Division.
• Supporting staff development in management information systems and the deployment of new technology.
