Essential:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Membership of a professional accounting body: Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia or CPA Australia or the Institute of Public Accountants.
- Demonstrated high level experience in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and the use of financial management information systems.
- Demonstrated high level experience in financial accounting and in producing accurate financial reports.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and contract law. 6. High level problem solving and analytical skills, including computer literacy and high level of proficienc in Excel.
- Well-developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to function as a team player.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills and ability to function in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines and have a good attention to detail.
- A current motor vehicle licence
ROLE SCOPE:
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and direct daily accounting activities; ensuring that proper accounting and recording of company transactions are performed in an accurate and timely manner; and producing financial and other key reports for management.
