The Accommodation Coordinator will work closely with the Fleet & Accom team to centralise and manage housing arrangements for staff members. This role will ensure efficient allocation of accommodation, compliance with department policies and coordination of property related services.

Key Responsibilities
Accommodation & Finance
  • Active participation in the Accommodation Committee.
  • Compilation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) data related to staff accommodation for Regional Finance.

Fleet Management
  • Oversee and manage fleet vehicles in coordination with the Department and Government Vehicle Management Contractor.
  • Maintain a fleet register, allocate vehicles, and ensure lease performance targets are met.
  • Approve leasing and replacement of vehicles per policy.
  • Ensure timely servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
  • Reconcile and approve invoices (leasing, fuel, maintenance, etc.).
  • Monitor vehicle use and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • Compile FBT data for fleet vehicles.
  • Manage accident reporting and insurance claims via Riskcover.
  • Assist with reporting and development of fleet management policies and procedures.

Work Related Requirements
Essential
  • Proven experience in property and fleet management.
  • Strong communication, coordination, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines independently.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools, especially Excel.
  • Valid C Class driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally.
Desirable
  • Understanding of Equal Opportunity, Disability Services, and Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
