Our client is seeking 2 highly proactive and motivated Information Management Officers to undertaking recordkeeping and information management activities. The candidate will have:
- Ability to understand and apply legislation and policy to support government and organisational objectives.
- Ability to conceptualise, analyse and evaluate information to develop practical solutions and make informed decisions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including the ability to gain consensus and commitment from others and resolve issues and conflict.
- Ability to deliver products and services to the required standards within the required timeframes.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals manage and develop self and champion change.
*Experience in Information Management or Recordkeeping preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Timeliness: The successful applicant is expected to attend work in office between the normal working hours - 8:00 am – 4:00pm. The attendance is expected to be five (5) days per week Monday – Friday.
- The successful applicant is expected to attend meetings when required, meets deadlines and proactively address issues and concerns that may arise during the contract.
- Required tasks: The successful applicant is expected to perform the following responsibilities:
*Indexing and registration of records/correspondence into EDRMS
*File closure and sentencing of records (physically and electronically)
*Updating working documents in MS Teams/ SharePoint
*Moving records/boxes to and from different levels of the building.
*Lifting boxes up to 16 kgs.
*Other IM support duties as required.
