The suggested pay rate is $89.37
an hour plus super.
Overview of the Position
The Budget and Financial Operations Manager supports the CFO in the leadership and day to day operations of the Financial Services Branch. The role is primarily responsible for overseeing the delivery of strategic delivery of the budget management function whist providing financial services support for operational initiatives.
The budgeting function comprises forecasts and forward estimates, in consultation with senior management and relevant internal and external stakeholders. This position ensures accurate, timely and relevant management reporting is available to budget owners and clients across the organisation and externally, assisting various business areas to develop and manage their budgets and provide strategic financial advice relating to Department initiatives.
The financial operations function results in the provision of timely and accurate services, advice and processing activities, relating policy and procedural compliance consistent with financial legislation including the Financial Management Act 2006,
and the associated Treasurers Instructions.
