Current National Police Clearance less than 6 months old

Essential:
  • Experience providing administrative support
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills to manage work priorities and meet critical timelines.
  • Demonstrated relevant experience and a high level of proficiency utilising the Microsoft Office suite of products, online publishing, database management and document management systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and as an effective and supportive team member.
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to providing service excellence  

  • Undertake the receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing correspondence and documents.
  • Undertake the accurate and timely capturing, processing and actioning of records (both hard copy and electronically) in line with organisational standards, processes and procedures.
  • Perform a range of administrative activities including copying and compiling of files and documents, filing documents with the State Administrative Tribunal, other tribunals and the Courts, quality checking of documentation, and diary management and building agendas and electronically assembling papers, maintaining and monitoring actions arising.
  • Assist the Board and all of its committees and teams in the performance of their functions.
  • Draft standard or template correspondence for team members as required, including letters to legal practitioners, complainants and third parties.
  • Assist in preparing reports, recommendations and related correspondence.
  • Prepare electronic documentation including redaction, merging and collating of documents, and record, file and store and ensure easy access and retrieval of files and documents.
  • Update and maintain databases and registers, and ensure the accuracy and quality of the data.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new and improved processes in the work area.
  • Perform other duties as required.
