We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Stock Control Officer
to join our team on a temporary full-time basis
, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This position offers the opportunity to be involved in several exciting projects planned for 2026, including warehouse management system integration
, automation initiatives
, and continuous improvement projects
.
As part of our Stock Control team, you’ll play an important role in supporting the transition between warehouse management systems
, assisting with integration projects, and developing process documentation
that supports operational efficiency and accuracy.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Maintain accurate item set-ups to support efficient stock replenishment and re-ordering.
- Work collaboratively with Inventory, Warehousing, and Customer Supply teams to ensure products are available when needed.
- Analyse data and prepare reports to inform warehousing and stock control decisions.
- Support and participate in stocktakes, process reviews, and improvement projects.
- Help identify opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce internal backorders.
About You
We’re seeking someone who is organised, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll bring:
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and warehouse management systems.
- Excellent analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- High-level computer literacy, with experience in documentation and report writing.
- Previous Oracle experience (desirable, but not essential).
Key Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in warehousing or stock control operations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Sound understanding of supply chain processes and warehousing functions.
- A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
- Must have no working restrictions
Desirable:
- Familiarity with medical or surgical inventory.
- Completion of, or progress toward, a relevant qualification.
