Our client is running a project within their AP area moving to eInvoicing and require a project officer to assist in their small team.
You will have previously worked at the Department of Planning Lands and Heritage, for the reason that engagement will be in teams across all divisions.

To be able to hit the ground running with an understanding of who’s who would be a huge benefit in this short-term role.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of change management plans.
  • Undertake change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis.
  • Support communication and engagement activities including drafting content, coordinating distribution, and logging and analysing feedback.
  • Review and testing of training packages and user guide documentation.
  • Liaise with the Training Advisor to schedule and coordinate training sessions.
  • Maintain training records and feedback data.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to queries and provide support during change and training rollouts.
  • Coordinate stakeholder sessions as required.
  • Track project milestones, maintain documentation and record keeping practices.
  • Provide timely updates on tasks and input to meeting papers when required.
  • Identify stakeholder accommodations to ensure accessibility of communication, training and sites.
  • Encourage and support a safe workplace environment.
  • Undertake other duties as required within the scope and capabilities of the position.
  • Demonstrate professional and ethical workplace behaviours in alignment with the Department’s Code of Conduct and Values. This includes ensuring work practices and behaviours foster an equitable, diverse, and inclusive work environment and support a safe and health workplace in accordance with Work Health and Safety legislation

Essential

  •  Demonstrated experience in either change management, project management, or stakeholder engagement.
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  •  Ability to work collaboratively and show initiative.
  •  Experience or interest in finance, governance or training.
