Role Description
- Perform mechanical fitting and refrigeration maintenance works within a hospital environment
- Assist with fault finding, repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance of mechanical and refrigeration systems
- Support installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, and associated plant and equipment
- Carry out minor mechanical repairs and general maintenance tasks as required
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and organised manner
- Work collaboratively with the facilities and maintenance team to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements, compliance standards, and hospital procedures
Essential Criteria
- Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter and/or Refrigeration Mechanic
- Construction White Card
- Full working rights in Australia
- National Police Check (dated within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain)
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
- Experience working in hospital, healthcare, or large commercial environments highly regarded
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary maintenance team
