- Receiving and responding to phone and electronic enquiries in accordance with established processes and procedures.
- Prioritising and completing conflicting workload and tasks allocated.
- Providing timely and quality advice and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders whilst maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Collecting, and collating relevant and accurate data to improve knowledge and build capacity throughout the Department to identify trends and systemic issues.
- Applying and interpreting legislation and policies relevant to environmental management and investigative matters with successful outcomes.
- Liaising with Local Government with respect to environmental management to ensure information is issued to the relevant departments for actioning.
- Participating in compliance activities, site inspections, pollution incident response and investigations.
- Additional duties within the skill and scope of position capabilities and departmental needs.
