One of our commercial clients is looking to hire a Procurement Officer
on a temporary assignment
- Hourly Rate:$60 per hour plus super
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 3 months (possible extension)
- Location: Malaga
All of our roles are temporary assignments and the hourly rates quoted include a 25% casual loading in lieu of leave entitlements.
They are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer
to join their team, focusing on essential supply chain functions within the resources industry.
Your Core Responsibilities Will Include:
- Purchase Management: Efficiently manage all purchase order creation and tracking.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain professional communication, conduct follow-up, and resolve vendor queries.
- Expediting: Proactively expedite critical orders to meet operational deadlines.
- Supply & Inventory: Support inventory levels and ensure reliable supply chain operations.
- Financial Control: Execute price verification and monitor cost tracking activities.
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in a Procurement or Supply Chain role.
- Experience with the Pronto system is preferred.
- Experience in the resources sector, particularly with underground mining operations (desired)
Successful candidates must provide a National Police Clearance(less than 3 months old) and complete two satisfactory reference checks.
