Role Description
- Attend to internal and external customer requests for stock items, including major unit assemblies
- Process stock requisitions and issue stock items or arrange transport and dispatch as required
- Assist customers with parts interpretation and provide stock information
- Receive, unpack, check and allocate stock items into store inventory
- Process requests for non-stock goods and services
- Receive and inspect incoming goods and coordinate distribution or dispatch
- Participate in cyclic stock takes and conduct random stock checks
- Arrange transport and dispatch of service exchange equipment and repairable components
- Follow up repair and return of major unit assemblies and equipment
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist with disposal of damaged or obsolete stock
- Operate forklifts, gantry cranes and other specialised equipment
- Complete daily forklift inspections and safety checks
Essential Criteria
- Experience in or knowledge of stores and warehouse functions
- Current Forklift Licence
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- National Police Clearance within 6 months or willing to obtain
